Your day-by-day itinerary
On arrival in Antananarivo, airport welcome and transfer to your accommodation. We go through the itinerary together before you set off towards the east.
A morning departure for Mantasoa, about three hours from Antananarivo. The day is given over to settling in and resting after the flight.
A visit to Mantasoa and its historic site linked to Jean Laborde, then the road to Andasibe through the Highland landscapes.
Explore the park at Andasibe in search of indris, taking time to listen and observe along the way.
You reach Manambato and Lake Rasoabe. After the forest of Andasibe, the route continues beside the lakes.
Reach the Palmarium by boat, a private reserve with semi-free-ranging lemurs. A night visit to look for aye-ayes can also be planned as part of the agreed itinerary.
Travel by boat through the lakes and the Pangalanes canal towards Toamasina (Tamatave), with views of waterside villages and fishing activity.
The journey from Toamasina to Sainte-Marie is planned by air. Arrangements and timings are confirmed with you according to the services available on your travel dates.

The return to Antananarivo is planned by domestic flight from Sainte-Marie. The connection with your international flight is reviewed before the itinerary is confirmed.
